Hannah Zhang is a composer, orchestrator, and violinist from China and currently based in Los Angeles. Her musical odyssey is a rich tapestry woven with diverse experiences, and her compositions have found their way into various domains, encompassing videogames, films, televisions.

Her fervor for video game music has led to collaborations with industry giants like NetEase Games, Tencent Games, Mobile Legends. Notably, her score for the video game Fantasy Westward Journey (NetEase Games) earned a nomination from Hollywood Music in Media in 2023. Her collaboration with directors have graced film festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Tokyo International Film Festival.

A graduate of USC Thornton’s Screen Scoring Masters program, her compositions stand out for their beautiful melodies, emotional resonance, and unique orchestral colors. In the role of orchestrator, she has contributed to projects such as 'Frozen Planet II' by BBC, 'Wondrous Journeys' by Disney, the animation 'DragonKeeper,' 'Play Hard' by Illumination, and the video game 'Wayfinder.'"

As a violinist, she has graced prestigious venues like the Lincoln Center in New York and the Elbphilharmonic Hall in Hamburg as the principal violinist. Sharing the stage with esteemed artists such as Lang Lang, Yundi Li, and the legendary Yo-Yo Ma, she brings a wealth of experience. Her tenure in China's premier Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra and interactions with globally renowned composers have deeply enriched her perspective on composition and storytelling. Her violin performances have been featured in major productions like TV show ‘Echo 3’ by Apple+ and feature horror film ‘The Offering’.
